At TIC Villas Property Management, our goal is simple: we want every guest to have an amazing, stress-free vacation. We know how much anticipation goes into planning a trip—time off work, flights booked, excitement building. That’s exactly why we always recommend purchasing travel insurance with any vacation rental.
Mother Nature Has a Mind of Her Own
As much as we wish we could control the weather, unfortunately, we can’t. Most vacation rental policies do not cover bad weather, including storms, flight delays, or weather-related cancellations. These situations are out of our control, but they can still impact travel plans in a big way.
Travel insurance exists for this very reason—it helps protect you when unexpected events happen.
Our Policies Are in Place to Protect Everyone
Our rental agreements and cancellation policies aren’t designed to make us the “bad guy.” They are there to protect homeowners, guests, and our business so we can continue providing high-quality accommodations and service.
While we are always happy to work with guests when possible, rescheduling to another week cannot be guaranteed, and refunds due to weather are typically not an option without travel insurance coverage.
We’re Here to Help—Kindness Goes a Long Way
We truly understand how frustrating travel disruptions can be. We ask that guests please remember that our team and hosts are real people doing their best to help within the guidelines of the contract.
Approaching your host or property manager with patience and understanding makes it much easier for us to explore any possible solutions together.
The Bottom Line
Travel insurance gives you peace of mind and flexibility when the unexpected happens. For this reason, we strongly urge all guests—no matter where you’re traveling—to purchase travel insurance with their rental.
It’s one small step that can make a big difference and help ensure your vacation stays a positive experience, even when plans change.
If you ever have questions, we’re always here to help—and we can’t wait to welcome you when the sun is shining
